In this moment, you’re not just the same person anymore; you’re transformed! You’re filled with power and purpose, ready to speak out and share what’s on your heart. It’s like stepping into a new identity, where suddenly, you’re not just observing the world—you’re part of something bigger, something divine. This is a moment of excitement, of change, and of empowerment!
This book, 1 Samuel, was written by a prophet named Samuel himself, along with contributions from others later on. Samuel was there in the thick of things! He witnessed Israel’s transition from judges to kings, and he wanted to capture this incredible moment of Saul’s anointing. Samuel’s perspective is deeply personal—he knew the weight of leadership and the spiritual significance of God’s Spirit empowering someone.
