Because JesusChat™ is a faith and Bible study platform, content you choose to share (such as prayer requests, spiritual struggles, or beliefs discussed in chat) may reflect religious or philosophical beliefs or other categories considered sensitive under applicable privacy laws. We process this information only to provide the Service you request, as described in this policy.
Information Collected Automatically:
- Device and app information (such as IP address, browser type, operating system, app version)
- Identifiers our service or partners use for account security, subscriptions, or diagnostics (such as account IDs and device identifiers)
- Usage data (pages or screens visited, features used, time spent, product interactions)
- Coarse location: approximate location derived from IP address (not precise GPS unless a feature you use explicitly requests location and you grant permission)

⚠️ AI Data Considerations
Important: Data processed through third-party AI APIs may not be fully recoverable or deletable if it has been used for model training or is stored on third-party servers. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize data retention with AI providers but cannot guarantee complete deletion from all systems.
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except for information we must retain for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes.
JesusChat™ is designed for users 13 years of age and older. We do not serve children under 13 and we do not knowingly market the Service to them.
For users between 13 and 17 years old, we recommend parental involvement in their use of our services.
If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account or provided personal information, we will take steps to delete such information and/or disable the account as needed.
To protect younger users, some sensitive personal details may be discussed in chat but not stored in a permanent profile unless we have a lawful basis and the appropriate consent to do so.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and implement appropriate safeguards.
