The book of Daniel was written by Daniel himself, a young man who faced incredible challenges while living in Babylon. He wanted to document not just his own experiences but also the lessons learned about faith and wisdom amidst chaos. By including this detail about the wise men’s failure, Daniel highlights the contrast between human wisdom and divine insight, showing that sometimes what seems intelligent falls short when faced with deeper truths.
