This book was written by Moses, who had a unique perspective shaped by his own experiences with leadership and community. Moses included this detail to highlight God’s awareness of human endeavors. He understood that our desires can sometimes lead us astray, and he wanted readers to see the bigger picture of how our actions are observed by a higher power.
