Imagine you’re at a gathering where everyone is trying to outdo each other for attention and status. Then, someone drops this bombshell: if you really want to be at the top, you’ve got to flip the script and serve everyone else instead. It’s a game-changer! This verse is all about redefining success and greatness. It’s saying that to lead, you actually have to be willing to take the lowest spot, to serve others wholeheartedly. Mark, one of Jesus’ followers, wrote this account. He was keen on sharing the real-life actions and teachings of Jesus. Why include this detail?
