This book, Exodus, was written by Moses himself. He wanted to document his experiences and the incredible journey of his people. This verse comes at a time of intense struggle for Moses and the Israelites. They’re stuck under harsh oppression in Egypt, and Moses is feeling the weight of doubt and fear. God’s words are a turning point. Just before this, Moses has been wrestling with his own insecurities about speaking to Pharaoh. But now, God reaffirms His mission for Moses.
