This isn’t just a casual thank you; it’s a heartfelt shout of joy, a celebration of hope and redemption that she believes is finally here for her people.
This book, Luke, was written by a physician named Luke, who was also a traveler and a friend of Paul. He wanted to make sure that everyone understood who Jesus was and why He mattered. By including Anna’s response, Luke highlights the joy and excitement that the arrival of Jesus brings to those who have been waiting.
